How do you feel on the first day of school?

The impression of my first day of school in my whole life probably is negative. If you said Amanda is so quieted to any of my friends right now. I can imagine their face must look like a question mark and the response you will have is “WHAT?” However, those friends will admit I was quiet and shy on the first day they met me at school.

I like new stuff all the time but not meet with new people. It does not mean I can not get along well with someone new in my life. It just because I do not know what to say or what should I say when I meet someone unknown at the first time. This is the situation I will face on the first day of school.

As I can recalled, I always sit along when the class take a break and seldom talk to people actively. Therefore, if I try to remember what I feel at that time, that would be when will everything end? when can I leave? should I say hi to people sitting next to me? and common there should be someone would like to know me and talk to me.

Well, but luckily, there are always kind people willing to talk to me first or invite me to have lunch with them on latter day. However, in sum, I do not like being at a new place, especially school, and, still, I feel terrible on the first day of school.

Why do you think adults smoke/drink?

Even though I am not an alcoholic or a hard smoker, I have some excuses or reasons for people drink and smoke as follows.

If people are not drunk or smoke a pack of cigarette at one time, I think the reason they drink or smoke is that they just want to try the tasty wine or relax and enjoy the life. Sometimes you feel so weird if a delicious meal goes without a glass of wine and it must disappoint you when you attend a party, they do not serve you any cocktails. Life suffered, so smoke or drink may play a role like massage to make adults relax from big stress.

The best reason or excuse for smoking and drinking may be that can make one feel like escape from the current life temperately. When you get drunk, you will not remember things you did, the words you said or even worst, you felt asleep and fall down immediately. Therefore, this is a perfect way to forget things shortly and a perfect excuse to smoke and drink.

Sometimes we can not blame people who smoke or drink because they may have no friend to talk to or things are not allowed to be discussed. What should they do? The only choice for them may be light on the cigarette, and thinking at the same time or talk to the wine and glass while drinking.

I can think many reasons for drinking and smoking. However, if you be yourself and not beyond the normal standard of smoking and drinking, any reason may be a good reason.

Would you like to be famous? Why or why not? What would you like to be famous for?

What will you do when you see Brad Pitt or Chien-Ming Wang standing cross the street? Screaming loud, Rush to him or struggle for finding pens or camera? Well, for me, I will do all definitely. It is my fantasy to be a celebrity. Therefore, you have my answer. Yes, I would like to be famous.

I am a lazy type of person. I do not like spend time on choosing and deciding what clothes goes perfect with those pants. Hence, the best thing for me is T-shirt, jeans and sandals. However, if I am famous, I am sure I do not need to worry lots of trivial things like this. There are someone always there handle so many affairs for me.

Moreover, be famous, you have certain power to influence a group of people. This is why the commercial advertisement enterprise tosses their money on these celebrities. We will not believe our favorite idol will fool us. Still they do not want to ruin their own reputation, either. For instance, who cares about whether Taiwan is an independent country? But, if all celebrities, and famous people you can named are support the independence of Taiwan, the result will be totally different.

Things will not be perfect all the time. There are some disadvantages for being famous. However, for me, If I am famous, I sure anything I do, any words I say, will affect at least some sort of people in this world and make the world even be better. Hence, if I lost some thing such as privacy, can make this world better or more peaceful, I am willing to do that, to be famous.

How do you feel on a warm sunny day?

I need a blanket, a couple of friends, or an amazing festival, like Italian festival to go with a warm sunny day. I feel so much hope, I feel it is outdoor day, and I feel relaxing when there is a warm sunny day.

What do you think about a high school student except for test, test, and test? I almost forgot all the detail school life at high school. Of course, I do remember about all the horrible exams. However, most important of all, I never forgot the feeling I have had when there is a warm sunny day. I am not one of top students, and I too am not expected to get into the girls’ senior high school which is No1 in my county. Nevertheless, every time when I walked upstairs to the classroom and faced such warm sunny day, I did not care about what people said, and I just knew I could make it. No matter how frustrated I am, I will feel so much hope once there is big sunshie out there.

Who desires to hand out with friends on a cold cloudy day? Who wants to enjoy a great foreign festival on a rainy day? Can’t imagine when we celebrate a big event without a warm sunny day. I still can recall even when I walked with my boss toward to the court, such a serious place; he said that hey Amanda, we should go golfing today. What a sweet warm sunny day, perfect for golfing. Yes, for me, sunny day is equal to open-air day alone or with friends and families.

It is hard to envision in Taiwan that you drive on the road and stop when you find a perfect place, a lawn; take the blanket with you, lie on the blanket on the ground, close eyes, and feel the wind in the sunny day. Well, lucky me, I did this several times when I was in Cleveland, Ohio. I understand I need to go shop some groceries, and I know lots of homework is waiting for me. Still, I feel so relaxing when it is a warm sunny day just in front of me.

When you ask me about how I feel about the warm sunny day? All I can tell is going out and feel it. And then, probably you will like me, feel the hope and relaxing.

What is my favourite month? Why?

Vacation, gifts, white snow, and decorations. Still have no idea? Okie~~~~ how about moose? Yeah, I know you got the answer!! Santa, holiday vacation, and Christmas Eve are the main reasons why December is my favorite month.

I love December due to Mr. Santa. People said Santa is the biggest lie in the world. Well, for me, however, it's the most wonderful fairy tale once happened in my childhood. As a child, I was told that I can make a wish to Santa for gifts if I promise to be a polite child and top student at class. I was so surprised and felt that Santa is the closet friend of mine because he knew exactly what I want every time when I make a wish. I know you probably will ask when the truth is revealed. I think maybe I should blame my parents due to the written character on the card from Santa. Haha. I can tell that it is not Santa but my mom when I was under 4th grade.

Holiday vacation makes me love December. After whole year hard working, people try to relax and spend some time with their lovely family members at the end of the year. As you may know, the air fare is so high in the last two weeks of December because people try to get out of town or nation for enjoyable holiday. Not only eastern people do so, there are more and more Asians take several days off for year end vacations.

Christmas Eve is the most significant reason makes me love December so much. Why? Because I love my mom and thank her so much for giving me birth on Christmas Eve. Although I always receive birthday and Christmas cards at the same time, when I walk down the street, it seems like people are celebrating and making all the decorations for my birthday.

December is my favorite month because it makes me refresh my childhood memories as to Santa, and give me a short break before a new coming year. The most important of all, December is my birth month and I can hardly image I choice other month for my favorite one other than December for any reasons.
